In 1912, the survivors of the Titanic stayed at The Jane Hotel until the end of the American Inquiry into the ship’s sinking. In 2010, The Jane Hotel partnered with the operators of strip club-turned-nightclub, The Westway, to open The Jane Ballroom. The experience of attending a night at the venue is best described by The Infatuation as "A house party in a haunted mansion." The Jane Ballroom commissioned Western Medicine to create flyers for their weekly programming. We approached this by repurposing an editorial template originally developed by Scanlan's Monthly; a political magazine that only ran from 1970-1971.
